The Edublog Awards are calling for nominations.
My nominations are:
- Best Educational Use of a Social Networking Service: Principles of Biology
- Best Individual Blog: What It’s Like on the Inside
- Best Teacher Blog: NashWorld
- Best Educational Tech Support Blog: JoeWoodOnline
- Best Educational Wiki: Periodic Table Wiki
- Best Class Blog:
- Extreme Biology – we aren’t supposed to nominate ourselves, but I’m nominating my students so maybe it will still count
- Endless Forms Most Beautiful
- Biology in Action
Last year my students’ blog was nominated for Best Teacher Blog. I’m very happy that Edublogs decided to create a Best Class Blog category this year which is much more appropriate. Good luck to my nominees!

Wow, Stacy. I am flattered by such a nomination. Funny that this particular category for nomination is the only one I have made to date. I may have logged some interesting reads as of late, but I am a bigtime newb compared to others. My nomination for that slot?… Michael Doyle, “Science Teacher” => http://doyle-scienceteach.blogspot.com/
If you haven’t read Michael, you will love me for posting that link. No biology teacher should go without absorbing some of what this guy does. Seriously.
Also- I agree with the Goddess here that your class blog is really great. Something about it just makes me smile the two times I have been there prior. Hey- perhaps its time to check it out again!
Thanks again. I admire what you are doing and am honored.
